Technology should exist to solve something for someone. I’ve been saying this since a talk at TVN Panama in 2019 — years before generative AI was fashionable. It isn’t opportunistic narrative.
Our real edge isn’t building the models — that fight belongs to another league. It’s knowing our own problems firsthand. The model is a commodity. The terrain is not.
I filter by values, not by company size. If the brief works against people, I’m not the right person. And yes, my experience has a price: charging fairly for doing the work well is coherence with what I preach, not greed.
