Technology should exist to solve something for someone. I’ve been saying this since a talk at TVN Panama in 2019, years before generative AI was fashionable. It isn’t opportunistic narrative.
Our real edge isn’t building the models. That fight belongs to another league. It’s knowing our own problems firsthand. The model is a commodity. The terrain is not.
I filter by values, not by company size. If the brief works against people, I’m not the right person. And yes, my experience has a price: charging fairly for doing the work well is coherence with what I preach, not greed.
